COPRICE supplementary feeding solutions offers our sheep and beef customers’ flexibility to balance rations this season with tailored solutions that will maximise the health and performance of your animals.

We recognise that favourable conditions are predicted for our beef and sheep producers with anticipated good pasture availability and affordable grain. However, even the best pastures can’t provide all the nutrients sheep and cattle require for optimal health, fertility and performance.

It is critical to balance a ration to mitigate risks of:

  • Mycotoxins from recent wetter conditions
  • Protein deficiency from grains averaging lower protein composition
  • Acidosis and urinary calculi from phosphorus and calcium ratio imbalances
  • Mineral imbalances in fresh forages, which if left uncorrected, may result in performance issues such as lower feed efficiencies, milk fever, fertility issues and lameness
