CopRice Beef Finisher

CopRice produces a number of different pellets for different situations. Our CopRice Beef Finisher is designed to be fed to cattle on limited pasture or in a lot-feeding situation. The pellet is a balanced ration containing calcium, phosphorus, sodium bentonite and vitamins & minerals.

Here are a few tips about feeding cattle:

• Cattle will generally eat 3-4% of their body weight per day.
• Introduce any concentrate slowly over 2-3 weeks.
• Make sure all animals can get access to all feeds.
• Growth rates of up to 2 kg/hd/day are achievable in 400kg steers.
• To minimize digestive upsets such as acidosis it is imperative to feed at least 25% roughage in the diet (hay, silage or straw).

Eskalin and Rumensin have been included to minimize digestive upsets such as acidosis and encourage better feed conversion efficiency.

CopRice recommends maintaining a regular drench and vaccinating program in order to maximize growth rates. Clean drinking water should be provided at all times
