Coverage for Poultry Floors

  • Should aim for approximately 5cm depth of Whole Unground Rice Hulls.
  • For capping old litter, generally aim for 1cm depth

Coverage for Large Livestock Stalls

  • Should aim for approximately 15cm depth of Whole Unground Rice Hulls.
  • For capping old litter, generally aim for 4cm depth.
  • Bulk density of Whole Unground Rice Hulls is 110kg/m³.
  • Coverage with Whole Unground Rice Hulls to a depth of 10cm requires approximately 10kg/m³.

Packing

  • Whole Unground Rice Hulls are available in bulk or in bales of nominal weight 125kg.
  • Bales sizes averages 107cm x 107cm x 65cm or 0.75m³. Therefore compression ratio 1.5:1.
