Louisa Hill is off to the Olympics!!

Last week I was officially selected to represent New Zealand at London in dressage. This was as you can imagine a very exciting day! At this stage I am the only one who has met the criteria set by the NZOC and Dressage New Zealand although two others are in the UK trying to qualify in which case New Zealand could have a team there.

I have just had a 10 day clinic at home with Andreas Mueller from Germany. It was a very busy 10 days but very successful and lots of happy riders and horses.

It is with Andreas who is based in Munich that I plan to go and train with when I leave for Europe- at this stage aiming for 30th March departure.

In the meantime I have our two big shows coming up in New Zealand. The first is the Bates National Dressage Champs in Fielding and then onto Horse of the Year Show in Hastings. I am hoping these competitions will give Bates Antonello more mileage and both of us more experience in the arena. Andreas will come over for Horse of the Year Show and help me work in and assist with the competition side of things.

Bates Antonello and I are so grateful to CopRice for the enormous role they have played in getting us to be selected for London. Without their help, my horse wouldn't have benefited from the fantastic feed and financially I probably would have had to sell him before now.

Thank you Coprice!!!
