Stuart Tinney tops the Australian Team Performance at the 2014 World Equestrian Games
Congratulations to Stuart Tinney (riding Pluto Mio) on 12th placement and highest placed Australian Rider at the 2014 World Equestrian Games held in Normandy; France in August / September.
Stuart Tinney is the most successful Australian Event Rider who is competing internationally, whilst residing and training in Australia. The only Olympic Gold medalist still living and competing here on Aussie soil, Stuart has shown us that a home grown Aussie is still the best we have in the World!
Stuart was Gold Medalist on 'Jeepster' at the 2000 Olympics. Since 2000 he has run and completed The Athens Olympics, World Championships in Kentucky where he ran a credible 8th on a horse called 'Vettori' (again the highest placed Australian). In recognition of his success, in 2000 Stuart was awarded an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) and was inducted into the “Sport Australia Hall of Fame” in November 2003. Stuart was also very proud to be awarded the Anna Savage Medal for the "Best & Fairest" rider in 1997, 2000 & 2007 and 2010.
“It is with the help of CopRice I can trust that all my horses perform at their best. WEG 2014 was one of the toughest World Competitions I have ridden in, I felt in great hands with CopRice feeds at the helm of my preparation” …Stuart Tinney
