Our Economy Cow pellet is designed as a moderate specification blend with 14% protein and 11.8 MJ of Energy.

This ration is suitable to feed in combination with quality hay, silage and/or pastures at a rate of
3-6 kg/head/day to milkers, dry cows, and heifers. If feeding at a higher rate the inclusion of extra buffers i.e. Tylan, is required to minimise the risk of acidosis.

The Economy Cow is a balanced ration containing calcium, phosphorus, Acid-buff, salt, and essential vitamins and minerals.
Acid-buff, a rumen buffer, is added to aid in minimising digestive upsets such as acidosis and encourage improved feed conversion efficiency.

The pelleting process provides you with a safer, convenient, uniform product which is a more cost effective alternative to using grain. The product is guaranteed to meet minimum specifications at all times and the steam processing of pellets can result in up to 15% better utilisation of starch and increased digestibility in comparison to grain.
